home furnishing manufacturers

Close to 70 years of being home furnishing manufacturers, we have come to one critical conclusion – there is no “right” or “wrong” when it comes to styling a home. What matters is how the people living inside it feel when they get back after a long day at work, after traveling, or, in most recent times, are locked up in it as well!

That said, although moving into a new home might happen only a few times in a lifetime, styling it is an on-going process. For instance, almost all of us find ourselves filling up shelves with souvenirs and memories built over time, getting new bedspreads, cushion covers, towels, napkins, mittens, aprons, tablecloths, and more every once in a while.

Naturally, there is the aspect of utility where a product needs is replaced with time, but decorating our homes, certainly has more to do with it.

This got us thinking about human nature and why is that people feel such a deep sense of satisfaction living in a home tuned to their exact taste and style, and our conclusion is this:

Soft furnishing to a home is what a personality is to a person.

Whether it is choosing the color, pattern, material, or placement of an item inside the house, it speaks a language that needs no words. Perhaps that explains a livelier person having bright accents of color in their home, whereas a more serious individual choosing greys, blues, greens, and generally calmer overtures.

Soft Furnishing

Of course, we cannot deny the fact that people do also change in the due course of their life. This makes investing in soft furnishing an even better proposal. A much simpler process, you can transform the entire look and feel of a space by working only on elements like the fabric of your sofas, curtains, carpets, rugs, and more, without burning a hole in your pocket.

However, if we put the aesthetics aside, there is a lot more to soft furnishings in a home than what meets the eye.

One of the most prominent of these is managing the scale of the space. The color and placement of soft furnishings can make a huge impact on how we perceive the space, along with creating the right mood for it ranging between the extremes of complete relaxation or stimulation.

Despite all of this though, the one most advantageous benefit of using soft furnishings in a space, we believe, is the sensorial experience of it. Touch, being one of the more underrated senses, is what helps us find a connection with the things and people around us. The intimacy, sensitivity, and attachment is probably one of the reasons why we feel that sense of satisfaction coming back to our “home sweet home” at the end of the day.
